Someone eats the last of the yogurt. Someone buys milk that's already in the fridge. Someone finds mystery meat buried in the freezer. Pantry Scout listens for how your household actually talks — "used the last of the milk," "grabbed two cans of beans," "picked up a 5lb bag of flour" — and turns it into an always-accurate pantry inventory and shared family shopping list. No scanning barcodes. No spreadsheet. No app to dig through — just say it.
An inventory is only useful if it's accurate. It's only accurate if everyone in the house keeps it updated. And somehow, you're supposed to remember to update the app.
Press, talk, release. "Two bags of sugar" or "ran out of eggs" — however you'd naturally say it.
It already knows your current stock, so "leaving three" or "used the last of it" just works.
Inventory and the shared shopping list update instantly — check them from any phone in the house.
No app to unlock, no list to dig for — just a tap and a sentence, right where the food already lives. Keeps an organized pantry actually organized, without extra work.

Different people say things differently. Pantry Scout's AI is trained on the variation, not a rigid script — so everyone in the family can log an item their own way.
Run out of something, say it once, and it lands on the household shopping list automatically — so nobody blows the budget buying the same thing twice.
Talk, review, done. No more digging through the pantry to check if you're already out — no screens to hunt through, no forms to fill out for every can of beans.
Fridge, freezer, pantry, cabinets — see exactly what's on hand across the whole house, in one place, before something goes bad forgotten at the back of a shelf.
Tap "Suggest Meals" and Pantry Scout builds quick ideas around your actual inventory — especially anything about to expire — so dinner starts from what's already there.
See what's expiring before it's forgotten, and keep a running list of what's actually gone — so less ends up wasted, and less gets bought twice.
Pantry Scout is available now on the App Store and in your browser. There are two ways to get involved before we open up more broadly.
In-home focus group. A small group of households will spend four weeks using Pantry Scout with a Scout Outpost, a voice button you place at your fridge, freezer or pantry, and tell us what works and what doesn't. The Outpost is on loan, and the app is yours free for life.
Android testers. Our Android app is almost ready for Google Play. If you have an Android phone, you can help us test it before release.
Choose one or both, and we'll reach out when there's a spot.
